June 30 @ 7:30 pm - July 1 @ 4:30 pm

The Mindfulness Living Series (Part 2 of 2)
An Evening & Day of Teachings and Practice
– Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche IX
For this Day of Teachings and Practice, we will combine meditation sessions with audio teachings by Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche IX. Short retreats are a great way to deepen your knowledge of a Buddhist topic and strengthen your meditation practice. Newcomers are welcome!
In Buddhism, mindfulness is a practice of self-transformation. Associated with remembrance as the opposite to forgetfulness, the emphasis is on becoming in touch with our experiences in a genuine and open way. Beyond popular notions of ‘being in the now’ or ‘focused attention’, in this series of talks on “The Mindfulness Living”, Traleg Rinpoche provides a corrective to popular misconceptions of mindfulness and in doing so, inspires us to practice.
The Evening and Day of Teachings and Practice is a quarterly series that includes meditation sessions with instruction and teachings from Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche IX. Please join us for the opportunity to practice and learn together.
